  • Sierra de Grazalema walking trip

The level of difficulty was exactly what we expected. Thank you. Having walked with s-cape a few times now, the holiday was very much as we expected and we were content with this. All of the connections worked smoothly. All of the places we stayed in were interesting and in all places we were welcomed by the staff and owners. We really enjoy this style of holiday!

The circular route from Rodalquilar to Los Abaricoques was spectacular. The hire bikes were fantastic and ideal for the rough terrain

  • Andalucia , whithe villages cycling trip

The level of difficulty was as expected. At the last minute, we upgraded my wife and son to ebikes, which proved to be a great decision. They were able to stay with me on the climbs and still get a good workout without being exhausted at the end of the day. The entire bike route was incredible, but my favorite day of riding was from Zahara through Grazalema to Benaocaz. The terrain, geography, and villages were breathtaking. We loved the road surfaces and the choice of low traffic routes. When we return to Spain, I hope to spend more time in Grazalema and at Hotel Molino del Santo in Benaojan.

Ferry at Cycleronda was wonderful to work with. The location of Hotel San Francisco in Ronda is perfect. Setenil de las Bodegas is a fascinating place and a must-stop for lunch. We were lucky to see a Semana Santa procession during our stay in Zahara.
Thank you for such a great experience!

  • la Gomera

Accommodation - Hotel Sonia - enjoyed the fact it had a bar for a nice post walk trip. Also food (especially breakfast was plentiful.
Route - I really liked that, despite the small size of the island, each day has a different feel to it with the varying scenery and vegetation.

  • Portugal: from Monçao to Viana do Castelo

I enjoyed all the routs and the hotels. The standout hotel was the Melo Alvim, for the accommodation and also the very competent and attentive staff. I started with S-Cape travel because of a recommendation from the former Blue Marble Travel. I appreciate your usual choice (on other trips) of typical hotels. While this trip used upgraded hotels, I found them appropriate and interesting, and suited to this trip with my friend who likes a bit more luxury.
This is a very special route, and it is almost entirely on bicycle/hiking paths. It might be a good idea to make this clearer in the description.

  • Vall de Boi

Level of difficulty was exactly as expected.

This was a wonderful holiday, which was cleverly and thoughtfully designed in a beautiful location, with fabulous walking, excellent accommodation and good food. The final day's walking was an excellnet contrast to the other days and enabled us to revisit an review most of the places we had already visited but without retracing our footsteps. We were very impressed by the standard of care of both the built and natural heritage and the way in which tourism is organised and managed in the valley - much better than here in N.Ireland! The beautiful churches were a real bonus, on top of the interesting and varied fauna and flora. Great views of vultures and Golden Eagles just overhead on Days 2 and 3. The friendly and very helpful staff in the hotels, the churches and the interpretation centre in Erill la Vall also stood out for us.
Finally the help we received from Anna at headquarters was wonderful - organising printing of our Itineraries and helping out when we accidentally got separated on Day 3 - fortunately the confusion was sorted out quickly with her kind assistance. Thank you Anna!

  • Tuscany South Through the Val d’Orcia

We found most of these routes extremely difficult. We are experienced road cyclists and we trained in the Canadian Rocky mountains. We did not expect to be off-road or on so many roads with loose gravel.

We enjoyed the stunning scenery of Tuscany. The accommodation was comfortable and hosts were gracious and accommodating. The local bike company was quick to respond & effectively resolve a problem we had with one of the bikes.

  • Asturias cycling trip

We loved it! It was a fantastic way to explore somewhere new. The app worked brilliantly, it was wonderful to have someone else do the thinking and planning regarding routes, we went off track at times to explore extra beaches etc, but the main route was wonderful. The accommodation and breakfasts were fantastic. We had a brilliant time exploring the beautiful landscapes, and as mentioned before, for us it was the perfect combination of physical challenge, beautiful scenery, exploring beaches, rest, relaxation and adventure. We were very sad when it finished and could have happily continued for another week. We are looking forward to our next cycle touring adventure and would happily book through S-CAPE again.

  • Asturias family cycling

We visited the beach at St Antolin which was slightly off route but one of our favourite beaches. Our favourite accommodation was la casona de Nueva and Quinta de Villanueva as slightly quieter locations but also particularly welcoming hosts. I was planning to email the s-cape team to thank you for the organisation of hotels and transfers which enabled our trip to run smoothly, which was particularly appreciated when travelling with young children. Many thanks.

  • La Gomera walking trip

The accommodations and breakfast was excellent. The variety of terrain on La Gomera was beautiful and varied. The luggage transfer and all logistics were all as planned with no surprises. Overall an excellent experience which was very well planned by S-Scape.

  • Andalucía 'Pueblos Blancos' cycling trip

This was one of the best cycling trips we have ever experienced! The roads were in great shape, the traffic was minimal, the weather was perfect, and the scenery was breathtaking! We cycled through rows and rows of olive trees and cork trees and stayed in beautiful white villages in Andalucia. Our hotel reservations and luggage transport were all planned out with no issues. Thank you to all of the people at S-Cape Travel!

  • Chestnut Route, Alto Adige

We spontaneously decided to go on vacation and try and get last days of good hiking weather. S-cape were really great - all checking, booking and confirming was done in 3 days. One hotel had to be replaced to more expensive one but it allowed us to go on hike. Weather was fantastic, no rains, sunny and cool. It was very suitable to hike on Kashtanweg when chestnuts are picked up and we had chestnut beer, chestnut hearts and checstnut pies, and chestnut mousse etc etc. Luggage transfer worked excellent and each time was delivered before 16 as promised. Cant wait to be back .

  • Cycling from Amsterdam

"The bikes were excellent quality and the S-cape routes were all enjoyable. Amsterdam and surrounding towns visited were easy to get to, very scenic and very cycle friendly. The accommodation was good and conveniently located for the cycle routes. We have done 3 S-Cape vacations and would definitely recommend them"

  • Camino Primitivo independent travel in 16 days

"This was our third inn to inn independent hiking trip with e-scape. We have enjoyed all three. What we soon learned is that there are many companies that offer the same basic itinerary. What we have found is that s-cape's offerings are more reasonably priced and in addition in many cases s-cape's lodgings are better. I am sure we will be taking another trip with s-cape in the near future"

  • Andalucía cycling trip

"We made a beautiful and exciting bike ride through the Sierra Subbetica. Good hotels, very nice and helpful people, intriguing nature and good weather. The bike ride was challenging, with a few strong climbs every day through beautiful and scenic landscapes and mostly quiet, well-maintained roads. A reasonable physical condition and experience in cycling in the mountains seems advisabel. Cultural-historical interest is addressed by combining the tour with trips to Cordoba, Granada and Montefrio"

  • Alto Adige Dolomites of Val Badia walking

"An overall very well planned trip. Amazing walks, partly a bit challenging for us who went on our first hiking trip, but not not too hard. We loved it and will for sure continue hiking. The Dolomites are just stunning!"

  • Cycladic Island: Tinos walking

"Windy Tinos. Hold onto your hat and map.

Walking in Greek Islsnds in August can be hot madness crowded and usually not recommended, but on Tinos there are no crowds on the walks, the wind offers a welcome break from the sun. And if you want the crowds just head to the town. I really recommend the walk to and from Livada beach, and the day to Agapi and Komi. Take your time. I wish I had spent a little longer exploring the villages. Not forgetting the Levkes Pension. Simple but everything you need. The food and location make it a great base for exploring"
