The Chianti Ecomarathon starts and ends in charming village of Castelnuovo Berardenga, just north of Siena. It is considered one of Italys most scenic runs, passing iconic landscapes with gentle hills, vineyards, olive groves, cypress lined avenues, and picturesque hill top villages. If you want to enjoy this magnificent landscape but do not feel up to a full marathon try the 18km trail or the 10km walk.

During this 5 day journey you will visit the most important towns of the Chianti wine growing area, taste lots of this excellent nectar and sleep in the medieval town of Siena famous for the Palio horse race.
