Today you drive to your next accommodation in the Chianti region. On your way to Radda in Chianti stop to visit the nicevillageofVinci, where the Genius Leonardo was born, and the beautiful town ofFlorencewhere you can take a tour through the Renaissance or opt for a short walk on the hills ofFiesole. The Chianti region is the ideal place for tasting good wine and food. Today you can make a tour of the most popular wineries of the area such as Volpaia, Ricasoli and the Cantine di Greve or go visiting the nice wine villages of Badia Coltibuono, Castellina in Chianti and Greve in Chianti where you can taste and buy all the typical products of the Tuscan cuisine. In spring you will enjoy the beautiful orchids along the edges of the vineyards flourish. While the autumn is the period of the grape harvest (Vendemmia) and you will see many people work in the vineyards and the little cars on the roads (Ape) carrying mountains of grapes in the back. This creates a very folkloristic atmosphere in beautiful autumnal scenery. Dinner is on your own.
