Summer has come; the perfect season to visit the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park, with its three singular valleys;  Ordesa, Añisclo and Escuaín. To get away a bit from the summer heat and geet to know this impressive mountain area in the Pyrenees, there is nothing better than hiking this National Park, with its wide glacier valleys, beautiful waterfalls, spectacular summits and dense deciduous forests ...an experience that will make this summer unique and special...

Due to a Special number in the Spanish  magazine GRANDES ESPACIOS dedicated in May to the Cares Gorge, in S-cape we want to offer you our  "Cares escape" with a special price if you are at least a group of 4 .

Don´t miss this spring break. Our proposal includes getting to know the best of the Cabrales county in a visit to the National Park, enjoying the mixture between nature and culture in Asturias.

This escape includes a combined 4x4 and walking  route . First you will walk along the Cares Gorge, the part up to a landslide that has cut the route this spring, and back to Poncebos (around 15 km total). In Poncebos, our 4x4 will be waiting to take you to Áliva mountain pass, here you have the option of walking to the cable car station and take the cable car down to Fuente Dé, enjoying incredible views, or continue on the 4x4 towards the South side of the Picos, through dense forests and down to Espinama. From Espinama, we return to Cabrales, but we still have time to visit a pre-romanesque gem in Cantabria, Sta. María de Lebeña church.

The next day, an interesting ethnographic route awaits, you will learn everything about ethnography and culture from this mountainous area and its inhabitants, on a guided  tour that will take you to the past and present of Cabrales  "The Cheese and cider route", to end with a tasting of the best local products and their homemade cider, at a real traditional cider house ...
